Fragments examines the point at which the abstract and the representational converge—our vision. As we move through the world, we intake mass amounts of visual information, and our eyes act as a conduit for our brain. They collect the tangible and intangible fragments of our reality and allow us to synthesize them into the familiar. These images illustrate the tension between our unconscious and conscious perception, and our internal processing of information—revealing the mutually dependent relationship between the abstract and the representational.
